Tasting Notes

For this press we teamed up with James Rich, author of 'Apple: Recipes from the orchard'. James grew up surrounded by apple orchards in Somerset, where his family make the hard stuff (cider that is).

Apples are often split into three groups: eating, cooking and cider. Cider fruit is usually less sweet, more tannic and a little quirky - and that’s right up our street.

We decided to blend Dabinett, a Somerset cider variety with local Ashmead’s Kernel to create this ‘tropical-fruity-beauty’.
